Engage in some physical activity

Travel, take regular walk in your local market not for doing hefty purchases or shopping but for just diverting ones attention by staying busy or alternatively try making yourself occupied in any other physical activity that interests your passion to make yourself too busy to find any time for dark negative thoughts.

Time tested remedy to stay away from negativity

Yes this is one of the time tested and effective way for keeping yourself free from getting trapped in the cobwebs of negative feelings.

Anything that keeps preoccupied helps avoid negativity

It is interesting to note that indulging in costly shopping and other luxurious activities are not at all necessary for staying positive rather it is just a matter of keeping yourself preoccupied in any activity that interests you and rightly chokes the availability of any extra time to waste on negative thoughts.

Staying idle is like a store house of negativity

Once this is achieved life will turn smooth and easy to manage free of negativities and dark thoughts that keep haunting specially those who remain idle and have no hobbies or interest to pursue for keeping themselves busy.

Ignoring useless thoughts increases happiness

Life is all about how you perceive about your surrounding events and people. If one inculcates the capacity to ignore useless thoughts it does become easy to align yourself to positivity and ultimately to a state of being happy.

Negative thoughts adds to psychological disturbances

On the other hand if one falls prey to negative emotions & remains ideal it gets quite easy for all kind of unproductive thoughts to overpower ones conscious mind and make them confused and disturbed due to lack of positive thoughts.

Staying idle makes a person worthless

As per an old English saying an "Idle hands are a devils workshop, idle lips are his mouthpiece" this means that a worthless man can only be expected to devise mischief and nothing else.

Move out of comfort zone

What is meant by moving out of comfort zone ?

The place especially ones home or personal room where one feels safe because their privacy is well maintained as there is no one to disturb them and one can freely live a they want. This is good from the angle of finding an ideal place to relax but if we see from the perspective of negative emotions and dark thoughts it is easy for them to overpower an individual hiding and isolating one self from the mainstream living in such rooms full of privacy and comfort.

Social interaction is a basic nature of human beings

Human beings are social animals and it is necessary for us in order to maintain our balance of thoughts we must keep mingling and interacting with other people who seem to reflect our preferences, therefore it is only a matter of just a small step of keeping oneself busy to overcome and simultaneously equally overpower any such cloudy thoughts.
